ELLIE

This set of three photoshoots were all of my friend Ellie. They are taken over a two year period and they are for her modelling portfolio that she wanted to put together. My favourite of these shoots is the 2nd shoot, on black and white film. I think the enlarged photograph from this shoot really captures her in such a good light and also really gets every detail of her face in.

My first ever shoot taking portraits with some background knowledge and attempting to explore different lighting and composition. Before shooting I researched Corrine Day as she was a self taught fashion photographer and has taken some really famous portraits of celebrities.

This was one of my first ever full non assisted black and white film photoshoots and I was really pleased with the results. I processed the film in the dark room and developed the photographs myself.

Ellie wanted some more photographs for her portfolio and wanted them to be outside in nature. She wanted a mixture of close up portraits and also some more candid portraits of her in the natural environment.
